Come Worship With Us!

Welcome to Twin Peaks Church of Christ

We’re so glad you’ve found us. At Twin Peaks, we want you to know exactly who we are, what we believe, and what you can expect when you come and worship with us.

Who We Are

We are simply Christians—nothing more and nothing less. As individuals, we wear no man-made names, only the name of Christ. Together, we are a congregation of the church that belongs to Him (1 Corinthians 6:11, 16, 20).

We belong to Jesus because He purchased us with His blood, and because we were baptized into Him (Galatians 3:26–27). In obedience to His command, each of us has repented and been immersed in water for the forgiveness of our sins (Acts 2:38).

What We Believe

We accept the Bible as the inspired Word of God and our complete guide for life and godliness (2 Timothy 3:16–17). Because the New Testament teaches that each congregation is overseen by its own elders (1 Peter 5:1–3), we are undenominational.

We know we are imperfect people. As the Scriptures remind us, “all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). That is why we so deeply need Christ. He became the perfect sacrifice for our sins (2 Corinthians 5:21), and through Him we have fellowship with God and with one another (1 John 1:6–7).

Our unity in Christ makes us family. It is our desire that others share in this same fellowship (1 Timothy 2:4; 2 Peter 3:9). That’s why we proclaim the gospel every week and welcome all to our public worship.

We became Christians through investigation. We urge you to do the same! We are concerned that so many changes have been made by men that are not authorized by the Bible.

God’s word promises us that all men will be judged by that word one day (John 12:48). We urge you to make a careful investigation of God’s word and allow it to be the only authority and guide in religion.

When You Visit Us

You will be warmly welcomed and respected as our honored guest. You will never be asked for money or pressured in any way. In keeping with our effort to carefully follow the Bible, our worship consists only of those elements authorized by command or example in the New Testament:

  • The Lord’s Supper every Sunday, remembering the death of Christ (Acts 20:7; 1 Corinthians 11:24–26).

  • A cappella singing, lifting our voices in praise and encouragement (Colossians 3:16).

  • Prayer, giving thanks and making supplication to God (1 Timothy 2:1–2).

  • Preaching and teaching, encouraging all to continue in the apostles’ doctrine (Acts 2:42).

  • A collection, taken only on Sunday and only from members, who give willingly as they purpose in their hearts (1 Corinthians 16:1–2; 2 Corinthians 9:7).

Every service includes an opportunity to respond to Christ’s invitation. All that we do is guided by these two principles:

“Let all things be done for edification” (1 Corinthians 14:26)

“Let all things be done decently and in order” (1 Corinthians 14:40).

What We Offer

  • Bible classes for all ages on Sundays and Wednesdays, focused entirely on God’s Word—not creeds or manuals.

  • Personal Bible studies available at your convenience, whether in a class, one-on-one, or in your home.

  • Special seminars and classes throughout the year, open to everyone.

  • Care and encouragement for those in need, including hospital visits.

Our mission is simple: to serve the Lord and to serve you. At Twin Peaks, you’ll find people who love God, love His Word, and love others. We invite you to come and see for yourself.
